Travel Allied (SLP) - Speech-Language Pathology

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year of home health experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted if seasoned in home health.

Required Credentials:

• Driver's license and proof of insurance required.

Special Requests:

• RTO requires manager approval.

Unit Details:

• Home health setting.
• 6 visits per day; 30 visit equivalents required per week.
• Canceled appointments do not count toward visit equivalents.
• Schedules visits with patients the day prior to the planned visit.
• Average driving is approximately 60-80 miles per day with no maximum mileage cap.
• Adult patients with cognitive deficits, tracheostomies, difficulty swallowing, stroke, and aphasia.
• Uses Epic Rover (view only), Mosia for discharge instructions and wound pictures, and Samsung Note 9 phones.
• No company car; phone provided for documentation and calling patients and providers.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: none.
• No call.
• No major holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• Geographic area includes Stanly and Montgomery counties, including Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy, and surrounding cities.
