Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

Required Skills/Experience: SVD experience (no VBAC). Cesarean section experience. OB triage experience. Nonstress test experience. Postpartum experience. Nursery experience. Newborn care and procedures. Management of hemorrhages. Fetal monitoring and interventions. Management of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia/hypertensive crisis patients.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: LDRP unit covering labor and delivery, recovery, triage, postpartum, and nursery. Postpartum couplet care and a Level 1 nursery. Adult and newborn patient population. Common diagnoses/treatments: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, pre-eclampsia, cesarean section, inductions, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Uses Omnicell medication dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE fetal heart rate monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

Floating Requirements: Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs.
