Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience in cardiac critical care and CRRT preferred.
Special Requests:
RTO requests will be considered based on unit needs.
Extended time off, particularly when it includes holidays, may not be approved.
Partial holiday requests may be considered—for example, RTO for Christmas Eve with availability to work Christmas Day.
All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission.
Parking costs $125/month.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
The patient population includes critically ill children ages 0-25 with cardiac, respiratory, GI, neurologic, orthopedic, ENT, or trauma conditions affecting any system.
The unit is a heart transplant unit with CRRT, VA and VV ECMO, VAD, peritoneal dialysis, and a CAR-T program.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers must float to various units within the children’s hospital as needed, including the Pediatric ED, NNICU, inpatient departments, and Wini 1 (psych), and must take an assignment and care for assigned patients within their scope of practice.
When floating outside the PICU, travelers are encouraged to connect with the Charge RN for questions or a brief orientation to the unit.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
