Unit Details:
- CVOR averages 6 cases per day.
- Open heart surgery and vascular cases.
- Preps operating room for patient/procedure.
- Positions and prepares patient on operating table.
- Performs all circulating duties with efficiency and speed.
- Assumes duties within or outside the sterile field as assigned.
- Serves as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating team.
- Assists in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekday schedule with weekend call.
