Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Credentials:

• Basic Arrhythmia exam and Pharmacology exam required upon offer acceptance; failure after two attempts will result in immediate cancellation by the facility.

Unit Details:

• Coordinates daily operating room activities in conjunction with the Nurse Manager and Department of Anesthesia.
• Functions as a charge/resource nurse and assists with orientation, staff supervision, development, and education.
• Manages operating room materials, supplies, equipment, and Pyxis inventory.
• Use of lead apron required.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 40 hrs per week, 8 hour shifts 0900-1730; no call and no weekends on the first contract.
• One weekend shift (8 hours) with 8 hours of backup call on the second contract.
• One weekend shift with 8 hours of backup call and 8 hours of overnight call on the 3rd contract, along with one Friday night call (11p-7a) per schedule on the 3rd contract.
• On-call is required for off-shift, weekends, and holidays.
