Travel Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Clinic

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical nursing experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Rural Health Clinic, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience preferred. Experience with immunizations, medication administration, and nursing triage preferred. CLIA-waived laboratory testing experience preferred. Experience supporting quality initiatives and patient engagement programs preferred.

Unit Details: Outpatient rural health primary care clinic in a team-based care model. Collaborates closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, LPNs, and support staff. Responsibilities include patient triage, care coordination, patient education, medication management, chronic disease management, patient assessments, care planning, treatment implementation, follow-up, and clinical support services. Manages patient phone calls, portal messages, and nursing advice using established protocols. Administers medications, injections, immunizations, and other clinic-based treatments. Performs point-of-care testing and CLIA-waived laboratory procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. No call. No weekends. No holidays.
