Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 travel assignment required.

Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

Unit Details: Includes a behavioral lock-down area staffed by psych. Pediatric to geriatric patient population; sees trauma, neuro, ortho, and stroke patients. Some trauma, neuro trauma, and ortho cases are transferred out; burns are not kept. Nurses perform their own lab draws and start their own IVs. Ventilated patients may be held in the ER until admitted, with a 24/7 respiratory therapist dedicated to the ER to manage vents. Pharmacy is in the department 11 hours per day and on campus 24/7. Nurse aides/paramedics, safety sitters, and a central monitoring tech are available.
