Required Skills/Experience:
Must be trained and have worked in a dedicated open-heart unit receiving patients directly from the OR.
Current experience is required with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting, Vent, CRRT, Swan, epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, and ECMO.
Preferred Credentials:
Trauma course preferred.
Unit Details:
Patients include those recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac and lung transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, and other complex procedures.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shift options include A/P rotation or straight PM, with rotating 7A/7P shifts.
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
