Travel Allied (Surgical Tech) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 trauma experience.
• Must be able to receive lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation.
• Experience with CVOR/cardiothoracic cases including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, atherectomy, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, carotid endarterectomy, coronary artery bypass graft, endovascular aneurysm repair, endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), femoral popliteal bypass graft, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, robotic assisted cardiac surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), heart and lung transplant, valve replacement, and aortic dissection.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Endovascular procedures a plus.
• Teaching Hospital Experience
• Community Hospital Experience

Unit Details:

• Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
• Cardiovascular, heart and lung transplant, and endovascular cases.

Shift & Scheduling:

• On-call requirement: 90-120 hours in a 6 week schedule.
