References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Open heart, vascular, thoracic, general CV, and CV hybrid case experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: RN scrubbing not required but preferred.
Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 13 or 17 weeks.
Unit Details: Uses Meditech. Full-service facility with some ortho/neuro trauma and robotics; no major pediatrics or transplants. No C-sections in the main OR.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation approximately once a quarter. Call required; general call averages every 7th weekend with no weekday call. Travelers would only take specialty call if cases are within their competency; cardiac takes cardiac call only, and general staff may cover ortho/neuro if within scope. Call response time is 30 minutes. Holidays rotate with permanent staff and flexibility is required. Some evening hours may be available; must be flexible to work evenings if needed.
