Additional Information
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must have experience from a 30-bed or greater PICU.
Manager will consider candidates with only PICU experience. Preference is for 2 years of CVPICU experience, but will also take 2 years of PICU experience if all other requirements are met.
Ventilator experience required.
Unit Details:
Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.
Congenital heart disease, pre- and post-surgical, heart failure, heart and lung transplants, and pulmonary hypertension.
ECMO; travelers will not be responsible for running the ECMO circuit.
Mechanical support (VADs).
CRRT; travelers will not be expected to care for these patients.
RA lines, pacemaker wires, and chest tubes.
1:2 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend, subject to change based on RTO and unit needs.
Floating Requirements:
Will float to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed. Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
