Travel Allied (OTA / COTA) - Long Term Care

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years OTA experience in LTC setting

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• DOR experience preferred.

Unit Details:

• Executes OT-directed therapy plans and guides patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination.
• Provides ADL training, including bathing, dressing, and eating, using adaptive techniques.
• Instructs patients and families on adaptive equipment such as reachers, mobility aids, and modified kitchen utensils.
• Monitors and documents patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns, and reports findings to the supervising OT.
• Trains caregivers on home programs.
• Prepares treatment areas, cleans equipment, and may assist with scheduling and billing.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No weekends.
• No call.
