Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable caring for 2 patients. Strong skills in fetal monitoring and interpretation, labor support and coaching, and obstetric emergencies and rapid response. Must be able to independently manage laboring patients, including high-risk obstetric cases.
Preferred Credentials: EFM training preferred.
Unit Details: Patient ratios: 2 patients in L&D; 3-4 patients on Antepartum. Provides care to laboring, delivering, and immediate postpartum patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. High-volume unit with approximately 8,000 deliveries/year. Level 3 NICU support. Collaborates closely with obstetric providers, anesthesia, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends. No call required. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Floating Requirements: Float within scope as needed, including between Antepartum and L&D.
