Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Special Requests:

• Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
• Candidates must have a 6-month separation from Ascension to be considered for a travel position.

Required Credentials:

• To receive the travel rate, claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.
• Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
• Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Unit Details:

• New and specialized CVICU caring for cardiac patients pre- and post-op.
• Work closely with the surgical team and intensivist team.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate surgical cases.
• Available for 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend, holidays, and on-call required.

Floating Requirements:

• Subject to float to PICU, Peds, and NICU.
