Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Required Skills/Experience: Will accept a Med/Surg or Stepdown RN.

Required Credentials: Claimed residence must match address on driver's license to receive travel rate. Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, either PCU or Med/Surg/Tele, based on skill set. Will need to float onsite within skill set or to other sites if needed.
