Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong ortho background required.
• Some endoscopy experience needed.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• Previous facility employees may be considered only with an approved exception from St. Luke's Health System.
• Assignment must continue through the holidays into January.
• Offer must be signed within 24 hours.

Unit Details:

• Faster-paced OR with heavy orthopedic, sports medicine, and robotics volume.
• Common cases include ortho total joints, sports medicine, hand and trauma, general, gyn, C-sections, and endoscopy.
• RN scrubbing is not required; all OR personnel assist with cleaning and OR room turnover.
• Uses Epic, TDOC for instrument tracking, and ProVation for endoscopy.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri. Hours may adjust as needed.
• Weeknight call from 1530-0700, typically 4 weeknights per month; may increase if staffing decreases.
• Weekend call typically 1 full weekend per month, 0700 Sat-0700 Monday.
• Holiday call may be assigned if there is a holiday during the contract.
• Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call.

Floating Requirements:

• The OR team covers endoscopy.
