Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years recent experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation and knowledge of cardiac drips preferred. Precept and/or charge experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia exam required.

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.

Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 16 - 18 weeks.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patients. Patient population includes CKD, diabetes, CHF, UTI, GI bleeds, respiratory failure/COPD/pneumonia, sepsis, and STEMI. Includes chest tube care, hemodynamic monitoring, transvenous/temporary pacing, conscious sedation, and advanced respiratory modalities. Uses titratable cardiac drips. Equipment includes telemetry monitors, wound vac, warming blankets, IV pumps, PCA pumps, BiPAP, high flow nasal cannulas, and chest tubes. Uses PerfectServe and Dimensions. Support staff includes PCTs; HUC coverage on days only.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday.

Floating Requirements: Will float to MS/Tele units.
