Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, with only two attempts permitted; update every 3 years.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; complete prior to the first assignment and update every 3 years thereafter in the specialty; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score demonstrating competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; complete within one year of start and update every 3 years; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score demonstrating competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday.
Call is shared with Franklin; based on department needs, there is currently an approximately once-a-month rotation with Franklin RNs from 0800-1700.
Holidays rotate with regular staff.
Floating Requirements:
Will need to float onsite within the skill set and to sites as needed.
