Required Skills/Experience:
- Scrub or circulate procedures; room setup and room turnover; obtaining disposables and instrument sets as needed/indicated.
- Sterile technique; central line setup; art line setup; Belmont setup and operation; cell saver setup.
Unit Details:
- Direct patient contact.
- Open heart procedures, CABGs, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures.
- Uses ESU, positioning equipment, and Meditech Expanse.
- Support resources include a board runner, charge nurse, service line coordinators, and ancillary assistance for room turnovers.
Shift & Scheduling:
- CST schedules include Mon-Thu 7-4pm and Mon-Fri 7-3pm.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to main operating rooms.
