Required Skills/Experience: Postpartum experience required; must be able to work in Labor and Postpartum.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Circulating experience preferred.

Previous Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Marshfield Clinic Health System employees must have ended employment at least 6 months before submission. Previous employment with Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, or Marshfield Clinic Health System must be disclosed with submission.
Unit Details: Cares for postpartum, stable antepartum, newborns, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients; may serve as second RN in SCN. Uses Omnicell, Philips vitals machines, bladder scanner, Medula breast pumps, Responder 5 call light system, and Medfusion pumps. Average census includes 5 couplets, 2 pediatrics, 1 GYN, 2 labor, and 4 SCN patients. Support staff include a ward clerk from 0700-1900, CNA Tuesday-Thursday, charge nurse/circulator without assignments, resource nurse without assignment, and LPN scrub nurse without assignment. Ratios follow AWHONN standards: 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 1:5 GYN/Med-Surg patients, 1:3-4 pediatrics.
Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend.
Floating Requirements: Expected to float to Med-Surg and Tele as needed, primarily as helping hands, but may be expected to take a Med-Surg patient when needed as the unit takes Med-Surg overflow from time to time.
