Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs); IV vasopressors CPAP/BiPAP; Ventilator management CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias) Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma) Isolation precautions; Triage; Pediatric spinal cord injury
Special Requests: RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted upon submission. RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population with all emergency diagnoses. Uses Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment. Emergency department includes a dedicated pediatric ED, a discreet crisis intervention unit, and a trauma suite located steps from the ambulance entrance for immediate stabilization of critical patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Evening/night rotation with 7p-7a and 11a-11p shifts. Every other weekend. Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.
Floating Requirements: Will be required to float within skillset.
