Required Skills/Experience:
1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients and direct primary recovery are required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Balloon pump skills, Impella training, and HemoSphere or Acumen training are preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 on POD 1-3.
Primary nursing model.
The unit is launching a new cardiac surgery program.
Shift & Scheduling:
3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.
Floating Requirements:
The nurse will take the same ratio as the unit floated to.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
