Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Chest tube management, PIV starts, and moderate sedation are required.
Special Requests:
RTO requests require manager approval.
Parking in the deck costs $7.00 per pay period.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients.
The RN-to-patient ratio is 1:1 until procedure completion.
Provides nursing coverage for all radiology services.
Uses Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Philips monitors, and Philips PACS.
Shift & Scheduling:
No weekend rotation.
On-call is required every 5th week: Monday–Friday, 5p–7a; Saturday/Sunday, 7a–7p.
Holiday coverage is required only during the on-call week.
