Floating Requirements: Floats between various medical and surgical units, including Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit on rare occasions.
Unit Details: Uses Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes. Nurse-to-patient ratios: Medical 1:6 for days and evenings, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4. Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.
Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. 6:45 pm to 7:15 am Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
