Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Operating Room

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Scrub experience required. Surgery cases: General, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Plastics, and ENT required. Neuro experience required; adult experience accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Free-standing pediatric facility experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Local travelers with permanent residence in Indiana are accepted for this Surgical Services/Periop position. Indiana RN residents are generally not allowed at IU Health facilities, but Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.

Unit Details: Level I pediatric trauma center with ENT, Urology, Plastics, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Trauma, and Neurosurgery specialties. Procedures range from minor to very complex cases including ECMO, burn procedures, tumor resections, and trauma procedures. Neonate, infant, pediatric/adolescent, and adult patient population. Staffed 24/7 for emergent cases. Uses Stealth, DaVinci, and ROSA.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call: 4 call shifts per 6 weeks.
