Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. Must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow NC, cardiac drips, BiPaP, and telemetry.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Unit Details: Half medical-tele and half medical step-down. Expected ratios: Intermediate care – 1:3, Medical - 1:6. Cases seen: PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, Sepsis, PE, UTI, Respiratory failure. RNs work on both sides of the floor (med-tele and IMC).
Floating Requirements: Floating to other units can happen at times.
