Travel Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Ventilator/trach experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate.

Unit Details: Heavy telemetry. Stable and weaning vent/trach patients; sepsis; alcohol detox; GI bleed; colostomy/ileostomy; chest tubes; TBI; ortho trauma; spinal cord injury; stroke.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Orientation week hours are not guaranteed. May be low-censused in hour increments as needed; shifts may be reduced to 4 or 8 hours. Up to 36 hours of low census unbillable time per contract. Scheduled hours may be reduced during holidays if the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units at Aspirus Wausau Hospital as needed; typically to higher-acuity units.
