Required Credentials: Basic Arrhythmia exam and Pharmacology exam required after offer acceptance; failure after two attempts will result in immediate facility cancellation.
Unit Details: Organizes and conducts medically prescribed treatment programs for adult and pediatric patients to help restore function and prevent disability. Evaluates new patients, sets objective measurable treatment goals, establishes appropriate treatment programs, and provides documentation. Administers diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests to determine the extent of the patient’s impairment and the prognosis for improvement. Carries out appropriate treatment modalities and re-evaluates the patient as needed, modifying the treatment plan based on patient progress. Provides patient/family education and communicates with other caregivers regarding patient progress, needs, and discharge planning. Provides instruction in therapeutic procedures to be continued by patient and family. Provides guidance and direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and affiliating students.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day schedule Mon-Fri: 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm, or 8:30am - 5:00pm. No holiday. No weekend.
