Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience

Hardstop must have SVE.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Candidates should ideally have experience in facilities that handle 200+ deliveries; applicants with experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries may be considered.

Required Credentials

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Unit Details

The position will be at the Pacific Campus, less than 1 mile from Colby Campus.
The Pacific Campus is the Pavilion for Women and Children with comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU.
The unit provides high-risk perinatal care at Level III.
Neonatal and adult patient population.
Staffing goal is 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2-3 in antepartum.

Shift & Scheduling

Weekends required.
No call.

Floating Requirements

Float required to Postpartum.
