Unit Details: Remote telemetry unit; telemetry is ordered as needed and monitored 24/7. IV drips include dopamine 5mcg constant rate only (no titration) for renal perfusion and heparin. Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and medical/surgical overflow from internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist services.
