Must have 1 year recent Pharmacy experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Unit Details: Interprets medication orders, compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical preparations, and reviews patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy. Provides support to clinical and medical staff, including drug information and in-service education. Supervises technical support staff and checks technician-prepared products prior to release. Performs I.V. preparation with aseptic technique and pharmacokinetics dosing services, including interpreting levels, modifying doses, and writing progress notes per protocol. Adult and geriatric patient population. Capable of entering a minimum of 40 orders per four-hour shift.
Shift & Scheduling: 5x8hr shifts including weekends.
