Preferred Credentials: Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) Vascular-Interventional Radiology R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) Picture archiving communication system
Unit/Facility Details: Performs high quality diagnostic/interventional peripheral vascular examinations. Able to assist physician in all biopsies, thrombectomies, embolization’s, tunneled dialysis catheters, Medi ports, lumbar drains, nephrostomy tube insertion, tunneled PICC, gallbladder/biliary drains, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty/sacroplasty, lumbar puncture, CAPD catheter, epidurals, and PEG tube insertion. -Neuro-interventional procedure (cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, carotid stenting).
Special Requests: Staff may be required to stay beyond their scheduled shift if more than one procedure room remains in operation at end of day
Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday as assigned. Totaling 36 hours/week. Daily Hours will rotate between the hours of 7am-430, 730am-5pm or 8am-530pm. Call required - 1 day a week with every 4th weekend coverage. Call coverage is 530pm-7am during the week and 7am-7pm on weekends. Additional on-call shifts during the week and weekends to support coverage for open positions. The candidate must stay within 30min of the hospital for on call days.
