Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Large hospital experience in a 250+ bed facility with level 1 trauma status. Experience with 15 or more OR suites; outpatient center experience will not be a match. Experience with General surgical cases, GYN, Urology, and laparoscopic procedures. Strong Neuro experience focusing on cranies and spine, strong Ortho experience for case versatility, and experience with navigation; must be comfortable working in General.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Robotics and DaVinci experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Must complete both an OR and a Neuro ICU skills checklist to apply.

Special Requests: Cannot take travelers living within 60 miles of the facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously employed by Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, or Marshfield Clinic Health System, must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.

Unit Details: Circulating role in the operative setting, including sterile prep of surgical sites, catheter insertion, opening sterile supplies, positioning patients for procedures, electronic documentation, and setting up OR equipment as directed. Uses Accudose, cautery, lasers, laparoscopic equipment, arthroscopy equipment, and Stealth navigation for Neuro cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Will need to stay late as needed; this is an extension of the regular shift.

Floating Requirements: May float to Broadway or South University campus if needed (rare).
