Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers are not accepted. Comfortable performing advanced endoscopy procedures to include EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP, stenting, and other advanced interventional GI procedures.
Required Credentials: Completion of an accredited program required.
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Requested time off will not be accepted between 8/5/26-8/20/26. Time off requires manager approval. Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler.
Unit Details: Upper and lower endoscopy, including advanced EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP, EGD and colon, with pre and post recovery (Phase I and Phase II) and some ICU level care needed. Endo Techs will process scopes for the department; staff are rotated through the week so they are not always doing the same job. Anesthesia provides sedation 100%. Uses ION robot, Omnicell, and Alaris. Patient ratios: ENDO 1:1; Pre-Op 1:2; PACU Phase I - 1:1 or 1:2, based on acuity; PACU Phase II - 1:2-3.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend. On-call one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend. 15 min response time. Sleep room will be in Pre-Op/PACU area as it will be closed; couches in break room. 2/4 major holidays.
Floating Requirements: As needed (PreOp/PACU/Floor) - if floated out of peri-op services, will be as helping hands. Will not be floated to Main OR as Primary RN.
