Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1 year Tele, inpatient only; experience and competence in drug titration.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Trauma, inpatient only.

Special Requests:

  • Block scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements.
  • RTO must be made up on the back end. RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment.
  • Holiday RTO: can request only 1 per assignment.

Unit Details:

  • Cares for cardiac/med-surg patients, including post-trauma, post-surgical, and medical comorbidities.
  • Uses Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment.
  • Patient ratios vary. Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees).

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
  • Weekend hours: as required by facility.
  • Call requirements: none.
  • Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Floating Requirements:

  • Will float on a rotational basis.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
