Required Skills/Experience: 2-3 yrs experience in IR. Must have prior travel exp.
Required Credentials: Associate of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred.
Special Requests: The candidate must stay within 30min of the hospital for on call days.
Unit Details: Will circulate, sedate and monitor. 12-15 cases a day. Common procedures include neuro intervention, angiograms, venograms, thrombectomies, dialysis catheter, fistulagrams, blocks, GI bleeding coiling, biopsy, kyphoplasty, IVC filters, PICCs, and embolizations. Support staff includes 1 rad tech and 1 nurse per case, with a staff member floating between the 2 rooms to help.
Shift & Scheduling: 9hr shifts that rotate between 7am-430, 730am-5pm and 8am-530pm. Call required - 1 day a week with every 3-4th weekend coverage. Call coverage is 530pm-7am during the week and weekend call (Friday through Monday morning at 7am). Stay-late responsibilities 1–2 days per week, based on departmental needs, until the department is reduced to running only one procedure room.
