References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Must disclose previous employment on the resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Must disclose any previous Marshfield employment in the submission; previous Marshfield employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission date. Travel pairs accepted if both clinicians have previous travel experience.

Required Skills/Experience: General surgery, total joints, and robotics experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: GI experience preferred. Scrubbing preferred, not required.

Unit Details: Common cases include total joints, ORIFs, tendon repairs, hernia, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, robotic bowel resection, endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsils and adenoids-peds, cataracts, and blepharoplasty. Willing to teach eye cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Thursday. 1 night per week whenever cases end until 0630a the following day; on call is 1 RN and 1 Tech and CRNA. Friday 630p-630a Monday, every 3rd to 4th weekend. Will discuss preferences; travelers are expected to work the majority of holidays, 2 of 3 for winter. Call response time: 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Occasionally will be offered opportunity to float to ED, MS, or LTC for helping hands depending on comfort level.
