Additional Information
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Required Skills/Experience:
Strong experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill neonates.
Hands-on therapeutic cooling experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
3–4+ years of strong Level III NICU experience preferred.
Required Credentials:
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.

Unit Details:
Level III NICU caring for premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates.
Care for infants requiring therapeutic hypothermia/cooling.
High-acuity patients may require advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support.
Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen.
Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devices.
Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products.
Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization.
