Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2 years current PT experience (new grads will not be considered for this need).
  • Previous rehab experience required.
  • Must be able to treat all normal diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience working with PTAs preferred.

Required Credentials:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy required.

Special Requests:

  • Facility will not consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility.
  • Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted and verified at upload.
  • Any/all RTO must be included in the profile.
  • All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
  • Scheduling requests at or after time of offer will not be approved.
  • Requests after offer may lead to a rescinded offer.

Unit Details:

  • Outpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Typical patient ratio: 8/day Monday-Thursday, 6 on Friday.
  • Provides evaluations and treatments including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for patients with varying diagnoses, including post operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis issues, general deconditioning, balance and vertigo issues.
  • Treats patients with orthopaedic and sports injuries, gait and balance issues, fractures, sprains, dislocations, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neck and back pain, neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson's, balance and fall prevention needs, bone and joint diseases, hand injuries, workplace injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and pulmonary rehabilitation needs.
  • This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Mon-Fri.
  • Variable shifts.
  • No weekends.
  • Holiday coverage if required.
  • Outpatient PT clinics are closed for major holidays.
  • No call.

Floating Requirements:

  • Must be flexible - will need to work inpatient PT as needed.
