Preferred Skills/Experience:
2 years of experience preferred.
Vent experience preferred but not required.
Preferred Credentials:
Critical Care Course preferred.
Special Requests:
Assignment length may vary: 13 - 16 weeks.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Clinical skills include chest tube management, hemodynamic monitoring, transvenous/temporary pacing, conscious sedation, and advanced respiratory modalities.
PCU ratios are typically 1:3-4; MS/Tele ratios are typically 1:4-5.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
Floating Requirements:
Nurses will be staffed on PCU and MS/Tele acuity units throughout the hospital based on shift-by-shift staffing needs.
Nurses may spend up to 3/4 or more of their time in MS/Tele and 1/4 of their time in PCU.
