You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
Telemetry oncology and cardiac experience required.
Need vent and transplant experience. Unit will not consider anyone who is not strongly proficient in these areas.
Must have experience in an academic Level I or II trauma center or similar-size hospital.
Post-transplant care is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
MS/Tele experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests:
Must be willing to work 12/24 and 12/25; the unit will not approve requests off for these holidays.
Unit Details:
Works in both D6/5, IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care Unit, and B4/3, IMC Thoracic Unit.
Patient population includes acutely ill adult surgical and trauma patients with multiple comorbidities, a variety of medical diagnoses, and hemodynamic instability, including patients with cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post-lung-transplant patients.
General care ratio is 1:4; IMC ratio is 1:2.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.
