Additional Information
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Level III NICU experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests:
- First-time travelers not accepted.
Unit Details:
- Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population.
- Level III NICU; no pediatric surgeon on site.
- Cares for patients 25 weeks and above.
- NICU staff attend high-risk deliveries.
- No NNPs at this time.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Call required: 1-2 every 8 weeks.
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating is primarily within the service line (Pediatrics and NICU) but may be asked to float to any unit as a 1:1 safety sitter.
