Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Credentials:

• You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
• Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation on skills learned; minimum passing score is 90%.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
• RTO must be submitted upfront; 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details:

• Patient population includes all ages.
• Support staff includes aides, EMTs, and paramedics.
• Phlebotomy is available.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend requirement is every third weekend; for nights, weekends are Friday and Saturday.
• Self-scheduling; shifts are not finalized until the schedule is final.
• Holidays are rotating.
