Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Required Skills/Experience:
4 yrs of clinical experience in a cardiovascular lab doing cardiac work or in critical care is required.

Required Credentials:
The facility requires candidates to have State license or proof of an application pending approval for state license before requesting interviews. Compact license not accepted.

Preferred Credentials:
Flu shot is strongly recommended.

Special Requests:
No block scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details:
Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a surgical environment.
Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition.
Assists with equipment and inventory maintenance and assesses procedure room and equipment functioning and readiness.
Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures the cardiovascular laboratory team's needs are met.
Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular laboratory procedures.
Continuously monitors and records patients' conditions while they are in the cardiovascular laboratory.
Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-call is required: 8-10 call shifts per month.
