Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.
Required Skills/Experience:
Moderate sedation experience required.
Experience with IABP intra procedure, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Critical Care, Level I Trauma, Neuro. IR experience strongly preferred. Procedural experience strongly preferred.
Required Credentials:
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips and pass Tele test on day 1 with 85% or better.
Shift & Scheduling:
No weekends. On-call required.
