Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Hard stop: Crani and EVDs.
  • Must have experience in ICP or ventric.
  • Basic arrhythmia experience required.
  • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Neurosurgery experience preferred.
  • Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

  • Adult and geriatric patient population.
  • Cares for critically ill adult patients with neuro diagnoses including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral hemorrhage, status epilepticus, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, and post-op neurosurgery.
  • Post-op neurosurgery cases include brain tumor resection, aneurysm clipping, and coiling.
  • Stroke population includes post thrombectomy and lysis patients.
  • Specialized interventions and procedures include hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia.
  • Must be willing to work with ICU and IMC patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend.
  • Some holidays.
