Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience. Will consider 2 years if they have been at an academic teaching hospital.
  • Minimum 2 years of travel experience. Potentially open to less; however, cannot take someone with this being their first assignment.
  • Prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a health care environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, centricity hospital information system, and digital echo storage system preferred.

Required Credentials:

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program may be accepted; one year of education equals one year of experience.
  • RCS via CCI is acceptable.

Special Requests:

  • Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
  • At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit Details:

  • Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures, depending on position, and acquires appropriate echocardiographic and/or vascular data.
  • Provides education and training in ultrasound procedures for fellows, interns, and other staff.
  • Uses Philips EPIQs and Intellispace.
  • Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, Centricity hospital information system, and digital echo storage system preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Call as needed.
