Unit Details:
Common cases include general, orthopedic, gynecologic, podiatric, endoscopy and ophthalmology procedures.
Average daily case volume is 20-30 cases.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM-3:15 PM, with 1-2 9:00 AM-5:30 PM shifts per 6-week schedule.
Call is once per week, with one weekend of call every 5-6 weeks.
Weeknight call coverage is 3:15 PM-6:45 AM; weekend call coverage is Saturday 7 AM-Monday 7 AM (48 hours).
Call response time is 30 minutes.
Holiday coverage is not required.
Self-scheduling is allowed.
