Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have neonate, pediatric, and NICU/PICU experience; facility does not have a dedicated NICU/PICU, but this role plays a significant part in their care.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Prior travel experience desired.
Special Requests:
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
Unit Details:
- Patient population includes all age groups across ICU and ED floors.
- Uses Hamilton C3 and T1 ventilators, V60 NIV, Airvo 2, F&P Heated HFNC, Bubble CPAP, and Pyxis.
- Respiratory Therapy manages ventilators in conjunction with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and the Hospitalist service.
- External transports for adult critical care patients.
- RT-driven protocols for bronchodilator therapy, hyperinflation, airway clearance, and NIV therapy.
- Mechanical ventilation protocols are used for ICU patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend; schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs.
- Holiday requirements are as needed, determined by supervisor; travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Call not currently required.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
