Special Requests: If you are working per diem at a Kindred facility, you need to wait 6 months after your last shift to apply as a traveler. If you are a full-time employee with a Kindred facility, you need to wait 12 months to apply as a traveler.
Required Skills/Experience: Adult patient experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Ortho and neuro experience preferred.
Unit Details: Inpatient rehabilitation setting for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Adult, geriatric, and neuro/CVA patient population. Common diagnoses and treatments include CVA, amputee, and orthopedic cases. Low-stimulation secured unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, a dedicated therapy gym, and dining area. Uses standard rehab equipment, Ekso NR, REAL VR, and UDS ProDoc. Therapy resources include high-tech gym devices such as the InMotion Robotic Arm, a therapy car for transfer training, special apartments for practicing daily living tasks, and an outdoor healing garden and walking trail.
